A fresh political debate has emerged in the United States over the potential war situation surrounding Iran. Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has alleged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has drawn President Donald Trump into a conflict that the American people do not want.

Speaking at a fundraising event on Saturday (April 18), Harris said, “Trump has been pulled into a war by Netanyahu. Let us be clear—this is not a war the American people want. It has put U.S. troops at risk.”

There has been no immediate response from President Trump regarding Harris’s remarks. However, he posted a message expressing support for Israel on the social media platform Truth Social.

In his post, Trump stated, “Whether people like Israel or not, they know how to win. They have proven themselves to be a very reliable ally of the United States.” He also described Israel as brave, fearless, and resilient in difficult times.

Trump further added that while many have stepped back during the ongoing crisis, Israel continues to fight with determination and knows how to secure victory.
