A unique protest program has been held in the capital of the United States, Washington, where large screens were set up outside a building showing images and videos of US President Donald Trump and the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to a report by Indian media outlet NDTV, the event took place on Saturday (April 25) outside the Hilton Hotel in Washington. The report states that various photos of Trump with Epstein, along with certain documents, were displayed during the demonstration.

The protest was organized a day before the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, one of the key political and media events in the United States, attended by journalists, political leaders, and prominent public figures.

This year’s dinner is receiving special attention as it will reportedly mark the first time President Donald Trump attends the event while in office. The White House Correspondents’ Association traditionally hosts the dinner, which is usually attended by the sitting US president. However, Trump did not attend the event during his first term or in previous years.

Trump’s relationship with the media has long been tense and controversial. He has filed lawsuits against several media organizations, labeled critical reporting as “fake news,” and frequently criticized journalists. His administration also introduced tighter restrictions on press access to the White House and Pentagon.

At the same time, he has occasionally maintained direct communication with the media, including taking personal phone calls and participating in regular press briefings, as noted in the report.
