The American Cricket Club, Incorporated (ACC) has proudly announced the launch of the New Jersey County Cricket League (NJCCL) 2026. The tournament will take place from September 5 to 7, 2026, marking the first-ever county vs county cricket competition in the state of New Jersey.

According to Maruf Alam Tushar, President of the American Cricket Club, NJCCL 2026 represents a significant milestone in New Jersey’s cricket history. “The primary objective of this tournament is to showcase local cricket talent, strengthen camaraderie among players and organizers, and create a festive environment for cricket enthusiasts,” he said.

The official community engagement activities of NJCCL began on December 13 during the Victory Day celebration organized by the Bangladesh Society of New Jersey (BSNJ). During the event, organizers interacted with community members and shared detailed information about the upcoming county-based cricket tournament. Organizers described the initiative as a meaningful step toward building community engagement and generating enthusiasm for participation.

The organizing team brings prior experience from successfully hosting the National Cricket League (NCL) State vs State tournament in Wisconsin in 2019. Building on that success, they are highly motivated and committed to organizing this larger-scale and unique county-based cricket league in New Jersey.

For those who were unable to attend the Victory Day event, organizers confirmed that there are multiple ways to get involved with NJCCL 2026. Interested individuals and organizations may participate through team ownership, sponsorship, partnerships, or volunteering opportunities.

Organizers believe that NJCCL 2026 will elevate the standard of cricket in New Jersey and further strengthen sports-based connections within the expatriate community.
