The United States has urged its citizens in the Middle East to remain on high alert amid rising regional tensions. In a security alert issued by the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan, officials said the security situation across the region remains highly fluid and that the Iranian government’s actions are unpredictable, according to Al Jazeera.

The embassy advised American citizens to exercise increased vigilance, closely monitor local developments, and be prepared for possible travel disruptions, including flight cancellations and temporary airspace closures.

According to the security advisory, recent regional developments have heightened security concerns, prompting the embassy to encourage U.S. nationals to remain alert and review their personal security plans.

The embassy also claimed that Iran has recently carried out attacks in various parts of the region without prior warning or provocation and has expanded its operations to areas that were not previously targeted, including Egypt.

It further warned that the absence of previous attacks on U.S. interests or businesses in a particular country should not be taken as a guarantee of future safety. American citizens were urged to stay informed, follow the guidance of local authorities, and remain prepared for rapidly changing security conditions.
