US Urges Citizens to Prepare to Leave the Middle East Amid Rising Regional Tensions

The United States has advised its citizens in the Middle East to remain on high alert and be prepared to leave the region as tensions continue to escalate.

U.S. embassies in Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have issued updated security alerts urging American citizens to be ready to depart the region if the security situation deteriorates.

The advisories warn that any further escalation could result in flight cancellations, airspace closures, and significant travel disruptions. U.S. citizens are encouraged to monitor developments closely and make contingency plans for a possible departure.

In Jordan, Americans have been advised to avoid U.S. military installations, while those in Israel are urged to familiarize themselves with the location of the nearest bomb shelters in advance.

The security alert states: “U.S. citizens in the region should consider departing the Middle East or be prepared to leave quickly if regional tensions increase.”
