New York Bangladeshi-American Lions Club Holds Induction Ceremony and Celebrates 13th Charter Anniversary

The New York Bangladeshi-American Lions Club held the induction ceremony of its newly elected executive committee and celebrated its 13th Charter Anniversary at a festive gathering.

The event was held Thursday evening, August 27, at Leonard’s Palazzo Party Hall in Great Neck, Long Island. Lions Club members and their families attended the program along with journalists, community leaders, cultural activists and Lions officials from the United States and abroad.

The newly elected committee members were welcomed and congratulated during the ceremony. Awards and certificates of recognition were also presented to several members for their outstanding contributions to the club’s activities.

Speakers welcomed the new leadership and expressed their determination to further strengthen the club’s humanitarian efforts, community development initiatives and social programs. They emphasized the club’s commitment to serving the community and expanding its activities in the future.

Lion Shah Newaz, President and CEO of Golden Age Home Care, attended the event as the chief guest.

Lion Mohammad Zahid Alam served as chairman of the organizing committee, while Lion M.S. Alam was the convener. Lion Mohammad Mizanur Rahman served as member secretary, Lion Fahad Solaiman as chief coordinator, Lion Ahsan Habib as district coordinator and Lion ASM Main Uddin Pintu as finance coordinator.

The program concluded with a dinner and a cultural segment featuring songs and other performances by local artists, which were enjoyed by the guests.

Club President and President-Elect Lion JFM Russell, Secretary Lion Mashiur Rahman Majumder and Secretary-Elect Lion Masud Rana Tapan expressed their gratitude to the organizers, guests, club members and everyone involved in making the event a success.
