NCP Diaspora Alliance Suspends Conveners of US Committee

The conveners of the United States committee of the National Citizen Party (NCP) Diaspora Alliance have been temporarily relieved of their duties. The decision was taken by the central leadership of the organization following multiple serious allegations against them.

The information was disclosed in a statement signed by Member Secretary Dr. Md. Abdul Mohaimin (Simon) and Chief Organizer S. H. Siddique on Sunday (May 3).

According to the statement, actively supporting rival candidates while holding party positions during the election period constitutes a clear violation of party discipline and organizational policies. It also alleged that ignoring the opinions of general members, using the organization for personal interests, and attempting to alter its non-profit structure go against the democratic principles of the organization.

The statement further said that an impartial committee will be formed to investigate the matter. Based on the findings, a final decision will be taken against the accused in accordance with organizational rules.
