Four Bangladeshi expatriates were injured in a drone attack at Kuwait International Airport. The information was confirmed on Sunday by Dr. Neyamat Ullah Bhuiyan, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
The injured have been identified as Aminul Islam, Rakibul Islam, Masudur Rahman, and Dulal Mia. According to Dr. Bhuiyan, debris scattered around the airport area following the drone strike caused injuries to the four Bangladeshis.
Due to the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region, the Bangladeshi embassy in Kuwait has urged all expatriates to remain vigilant. The embassy advised citizens to stay away from military installations and remain indoors or in safe locations. They were also advised not to go outside unless absolutely necessary.
Police and security forces quickly arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. Authorities have continued heightened security measures to ensure the safety of expatriates.
