Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for launching 12 ballistic missiles targeting a U.S. military facility at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, alleging damage to aircraft hangars, command and control centers, and other critical infrastructure.

According to the IRGC statement, the strike targeted facilities used by U.S. forces, including hangars allegedly housing F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets. The group said long-range ballistic missiles were used in the attack and that multiple key installations were hit.

The claim comes amid rising regional tensions following recent U.S. military operations reportedly targeting Iranian radar systems, air defense units, and other strategic sites. In response, Iran has stated it carried out missile and drone attacks against U.S. positions in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

However, these claims have not been independently verified. The Jordanian Armed Forces said several incoming missiles were intercepted over the Al-Azraq region, with no reported casualties or significant damage. U.S. officials also stated that most of the incoming projectiles were successfully neutralized.

The situation remains tense as conflicting accounts continue to emerge from all sides, and independent verification of the reported damage has not been confirmed.
