Elahi Tax has announced attractive rewards ahead of the current tax filing season in the United States. Kudrate Elahi, Chief Executive Officer of the IRS-authorized agent firm, said that clients who file their taxes through the company will have the opportunity to win several prizes, including an Umrah package.

Kudrate Elahi said, “We have been working with the community for a long time. This year, we decided to introduce special rewards for our clients during the tax season.”

According to him, the first prize will be a fully sponsored Umrah package for one winner, including round-trip airfare and accommodation at a five-star hotel in Saudi Arabia. The second prize will be 1,000 dollars, while the third prize will be a total of 500 dollars, distributed among five winners who will each receive 100 dollars.

He added that both new and existing clients who file their taxes through Elahi Tax this season will be eligible for the rewards. Each client will receive a token that must be placed in a designated drop box. The winners will be announced on April 16, the day after the tax filing deadline, during a live event in the presence of various media outlets.

Regarding the Umrah package, he said that if the winner is unable to accept the package for any reason, they may receive an equivalent amount in cash or transfer the package to someone else.

Speaking about the tax filing schedule, Kudrate Elahi said that the tax filing process in the United States began on January 26 this year and will continue until April 15.

He noted that businesses operating as LLCs or partnerships must file their taxes by March 15. For C corporations or regular corporations, the deadline is April 15, which is also the deadline for individual tax returns.

He also mentioned that those who are unable to file their taxes within the deadline can apply for an automatic six-month extension. However, all income-related documents should be prepared before filing taxes.

Regarding refunds, he said that individuals expecting tax refunds or various credits should file their taxes as early as possible. So far, nearly 135 million dollars in refunds have already been distributed, and payments related to Earned Income Credit and Child Tax Credit have started.

He further added that several new benefits have been introduced this tax season under the “Big Beautiful Bill.” These include no tax on tips, no tax on overtime premiums, and no tax on interest related to personal vehicles. Taxpayers are advised to consult a trusted tax professional to ensure these benefits are properly claimed.
